Llapingachos in London
Dozens of Ecuadorians are expected to descend on Kennington Park, central London on Sunday August 20 for the Latin Summer UK festival.

Organised by a group of Latin American ex-pats, the festival will bring live Latino music to London as well as regional foods including Ecuadorian speciality llapingachos.
The tasty potato-based patties - a favourite of volunteers at the Centre for the Working Girl (CENIT) - are sure to sell like hot cakes to festival visitors.
Latino music stars due to attend the festival include Argentinian singer Gustavo Lima, Salsa artist Alex D’Castro and dancer Anita Vivas.
Ecuadorian speciality llapingachos will be on sale.
“Our vision is to promote the Latin American culture through music, arts and typical Latin food,” say the organisers, “with joy and with the spontaneity that only Latin-Americans can demonstrate.”
